Ms. De Lisio has worked with my son for over 3 years and I am very pleased with his progress in his writing and reading. She has helped him feel very confident in class and has improved his ability to ask questions when needed.

At Smartcookies Tutoring & Consulting, we partner with parents to help children understand their unique learning styles, build confidence, and develop the skills and mindset needed to thrive as lifelong learners.
Founded by Silvana DeLisio, a passionate educator with over 30 years of experience teaching Grades 1–8, Smartcookies is built on the belief that children should be supported as individuals, not measured by rigid curriculum expectations. Silvana’s work focuses on individualized skill development, confidence-building, and lifelong learning habits.
Her final six years with the school board focused on working with neurodiverse learners and developing Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Today, Silvana continues her mission through personalized plans and private sessions in all subject areas.
